Thanks, Chris, Yes, and one can choose a color for the comment as well. I would prefer to keep the text in good order and have the comments in the margin where dialogue can be carried on and preserved until the document is ready to publish. BUT, I'm having trouble opening the pull-down menu to choose a footnote--it instantly inserts a comment in the body of the text, not necessarily where I intended for it to be! Any suggestions?
